| BusinessWire TranSwitch Demonstrates Next-Gen Ethernet-based Solutions at NXTcomm 2008NXTcomm 2008 SHELTON, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TranSwitch® Corporation (NASDAQ: TXCC), a leading provider of carrier-class semiconductor solutions for the converging voice, data and video network, will demonstrate its latest Ethernet-based solutions at NXTcomm 2008 in Booth # SU6108, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, June 17-19. The Ethernet demonstrations will feature four TranSwitch products: Diplomat-IP for next-generation broadband access market, PacketSID for packet-based clock recovery, Envoy-XE for carrier-class access systems, and HD-PXL-1.3 for HDMI/DVI applications. The Diplomat-IP is a high performance xDSL access controller to address the needs of next-generation IP-DSLAM systems, offering per-flow traffic management capabilities supporting eight classes of services and integrated control and management plane functions. PacketSID is an integrated solution for the wireless backhaul and access application that recovers accurate clock information from the packet data stream based on Adaptive techniques (TDMoIP, SAToP, or CESoPSN) or IEEE 1588v2 protocol. A third demonstration features Envoy-XE, a carrier-class Ethernet processor for access network applications. TranSwitch will demonstrate how the capabilities of its Envoy product family support the requirements of next-generation based Ethernet services.
